Ever get the opportunity to work on something that directly aligns with your own vision and beliefs? Yeah, well, that was this project for me.

The conversation started with the founder telling me, “I need a logo and I kinda feel ashamed that I only have a small budget.” If you know me, you’ll know that I never consider myself above anything, so my response was, “We haven’t even talked about what you’re looking to do yet. Either way, we’ll make something dope.”

The founder is a super inspirational dude, and he laid out his vision for me.

Xhuman is more than just a lifestyle brand; it's a movement dedicated to pushing the limits of human potential. The founder only wanted a logo, but I saw an opportunity to create a brand that would resonate deeply with their mission. Starting with detailed discussions and back and forth, we netted out on the ol’ good, fast, and cheap approach.

“I’m not going to give you a logo. You can pay someone on Fiverr for that. I’m going to give you a brand.”

This was a passion project, and I was willing to invest. My next move was diving directly into the sketchbook and aligning on a direction as quickly as possible.

What evolved next was a bold, dynamic brand identity. Xhuman needed a direction that was versatile enough to represent their main brand, Project Xhuman, and XHMN Supplements, and it all revolves around a powerful geometric X, symbolizing the brand’s dedication to greatness and authenticity.

So while he may have thought he just needed a logo, the task was developing a holistic visual language that would inspire and connect with their audience. By capturing the essence of extreme athletes and community leaders, the final brand identity stands as a testament to Xhuman’s vision of redefining limits and inspiring greatness.
